March 24 The American Cancer Society Auxiliary will host
the 23rd annual fashion show at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead.
HIGH MUSEUM ATLANTA WINE AUCTION
March 26-29 Wine Auction at the High Museum of Art. This
year’s auction, titled “Legends of the
Vine,” explores wine through the ages, and features
winemakers and talented chefs from across the US.
“TOSSED OUT TREASURES” PREVIEW PARTY
March 27 6-9 PM. The Sandy Springs Society presents the 23rd
annual “Tossed Out Treasures” with a preview party
of the ultimate flea-market at Tom Jumper Chevrolet, 7200 Roswell
Road.Be the first to browse and buy the gently used
upscale items showcased. The official event is March 28-29 from
10 AM-6 PM.
April 12 7 PM. Annual fundraiser for the
Michael C. Carlos Museum. Enjoy silent auction, chaired by Su Longman,
plus culinary delights.
April 19 The 49th annual horse race in the country
will be held at Kingston Downs. Proceeds benefit the UGA College
of Veterinary Medicine. Gates open at 9 AM.
DINING OUT FOR LIFE
April 24 Open Hand’s annual fundraiser will be hosted
at more than 100 metro Atlanta restaurants. At least 25% of the
total check at participating restaurants will support Open Hand’s
community programs on nutrition.
April 26 24th annual
ball, themed “Kentucky Derby,” at the Richards Family
Estate in Carrollton. Proceeds from the evening will help support
an expansion of the child and adolescent unit at Willowbrooke at
the Tanner Behavioral Health Facility in Villa Rica.
