(l-r) Ball co-chairs Mrs. Richard L. Shackleford (Honey) and Mrs. Robert A. Miller (Dana)

The fifty-eighth Piedmont Ball was a rousing success at the Piedmont Driving Club this January. Sponsored by The Woman's Auxillary of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, this white-tie affair is the oldest and most prestigious event in Atlanta.

Mrs. Sally G. Tomlinson will serve as honorary chairman. Tomlinson co-chaired the ball in 1977, and has served on the Ball committee many times.

The Ball's theme was "The Romance of Seville", so its no surprise that Spain's traditional red was prominent in the décor designed by Tony Brewer, with hundreds of red roses decorating the room along with candles and dramatic fabric creating an intimate, romantic experience.
