Swan House Ball 2010
The annual Swan
House Ball is one of
the premier social
events in Atlanta and the perfect choice for the spring cover of Atlanta
Social Season. An elegant, intimate and exclusive
event, it is the Atlanta History
Center’s largest fundraiser.
Guests will be greeted with
passed champagne as they
were at the first ball, in 1986,
on arrival in the front lawn,
surrounded by cascading
fountains. As the sun begins
to set, guests will stroll across
the new bridge spanning The
Quarry Garden to dinner
and dancing in the Grand
Overlook Ballroom.
This year’s event takes place
Saturday, April 24, 6:30–1:00
AM. The Ball is chaired by
Lisa Armstrong and Libby
Lanier. Honorary Chair is Jim
Landon. Patron chairs are
Betty and Alston Glenn; Host
Committee Chairmen, Cathy
and George Manning. Tricia
and Inman Allen are chairmen
for the Ladies and Gentlemen’s
Committee. Patron tickets are
$2,000 per couple.
