The Marietta Business Association sponsored a panel discussion of “Women Who Lead.” Invited to participate were Cathy Cox, former Georgia Secretary of State and currently president of Young Harris College; Beverly McAfee, real estate developer in Cobb County and former Marietta Citizen of the Year; Jennifer Britt Fleck, region manager for Georgia Power and a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce; and Judge Mary Staley, Cobb Superior Court Judge, who presided over one of the most controversial cases in the country: the Justin Ross Harris hot car death trial.
The program was presided over by Nancy Couch, president of the MBA. Gloria Lane, publisher of Atlanta Social Season Magazine, and the first female reporter/anchor for WSB-TV, moderated the panel discussion.
