What do the Medicine Woman
and the Material Girl have in common? Children’s clothing, for one.
Both Jane Seymour and Madonna have launched an adorable line of apparel
for little ladies. Seymour’s fanciful fabrications,
tagged Wonder & Whimsy (above right), feature swirly dresses,
jumpers and skirts, velour pants, knit tops and cardigans – oh-so-sweetly
embellished with flowers, ruffles, ribbons and bows in a rainbow bright
palette of pink, purple, orange and aqua. Her collection, for infants
to size 6X, is created in partnership with Saks Inc. Madonna’s designer
duds are inspired by her popular children’s book, The English Roses.
The sassy styles (above left), manufactured by Lipstik, include
rose-embroidered jeans with zebra trim, a pink faux suede coat with red
velvet lining and a pearl-studded denim set. The clothes retail between
$50-$175 and are available at Neiman Marcus.
