Talk about having it all. Denise Richards is one lucky lady. A model-turned-actress, the green-eyed beauty has become a sizzling sensation on the big screen. She’s married to Hollywood hunk Charlie Sheen. And she couldn’t be happier in her newest role as Mom to the couple’s 9-month-old daughter, Sam.

Diapers certainly haven’t put a damper on the fun and games. This hot mamma is on a roll. Continuing to expand her acting skills while dazzling audiences with her sex appeal, Denise recently starred in Lifetime’s romantic comedy I Do (But I Don’t), playing an obsessive-compulsive wedding planner opposite Dean Cain; and she’s made guest appearances on CBS’ hit comedy Two and Half Men.

Since steaming up the screen in Wild Things in 1998, the former Bond girl has found plenty of action indeed. She joined her husband in the horror-spoof franchise Scary Movie 3, co-starred with Daryl Hannah and Joaquim De Almedia in the independent film Yo Puta, made a cameo appearance in the romantic comedy Love Actually, and completed production on You Stupid Man.

Additional film credits racked up by the 33-year-old star include Universal’s gritty drama Empire, the critically-acclaimed comedy Undercover Brother and MGM’s Bond blockbuster The World Is Not Enough.

Born Feb. 17, 1972, in a Chicago suburb, Denise strutted her stuff early on, from a modeling stint in New York (cut short by her 5’6” physique) to acting classes in L.A. She soon found work in television, appearing on the shows Doogie Howser, MD, Saved By the Bell, Life Goes On, Melrose Place, Married with Children and Seinfeld. She caught the eye of critics as a series regular in Against the Grain opposite Ben Affleck, and in the television film In the Blink of an Eye, playing Mimi Rogers’ daughter.

Denise made her film debut in 1993 in National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon 1, followed by her first starring role in the family flick Tammy and the T-Rex. Her big break came in Paul Verhoeven’s $100 million sci-fi action flick Starship Troopers, with a fresh young cast that also included Caspar Van Dien, Neill Patrick Harris, Jake Busey and Dina Meyer.

In a few short years, Denise catapulted from complete obscurity to the next big thing. Her popularity, particularly among male followers, grew even stronger in her next venture, the crime thriller Wild Things, co-starring Kevin Bacon, Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell. Cast as spoiled socialite Kelly Van Ryan, Richards proved that she could lie, cheat, scheme, seduce and kill with the best of them – right down to her lesbian love scene.

New Line Cinema came calling. In 1999, Denise co-starred opposite Kirstie Alley, Ellen Barkin and Kirsten Dunst in Drop Dead Gorgeous, playing a small-town beauty pageant contestant in a film toying with America’s beauty ideals.

The following year, Denise’s personal and professional life collided head-on. She met her future husband, shooting the independent film Good Advice in 2000. The celebrity couple began dating after Denise did some guest spots on Sheen’s sitcom, Spin City. The two married in June 2002.

Denise can be seen in the upcoming feature film Elvis Has Left the Building.
