MEET DR. LYONS

Dr. Lyons has practiced gynecological medicine since 1980. During his practice he has developed these surgical procedures and has trained other surgeons around the world. He also has a global base of patients who have sought him out for his expertise:

* Laparoscopic Burch procedure for Urinary Stress Incontinence, in addition to
other procedures for pelvic relaxation, vault prolapse, rectocele and enterocele.

* Supracervical Laparoscopic Hysterectomy which leaves more of the woman
intact for better sexual function post-operatively, with no increased risk of cervical cancer.

Dr. Lyons is one of the two surgical specialists at Atlanta's renowned Center for Endometriosis Care. His use of video laparoscopic laser excisional surgery has been shown to be far more effective than just laser removal of the disease visible on the surface. His objective is to remove all endometriosis while preserving a woman's organs.
