As Harry Norman, Realtors® 75th anniversary year comes to a close and the company moves into its new corporate headquarters, the Harry Norman, Jr. Building, the company's commitment to serving the community has never been greater. In the fall, Harry Norman, Realtors® served as sponsor of the Atlanta Botanical Garden's fourth annual "Goblins in the Garden" event. On Sunday, October 30th the garden hosted a children's costume party as the culmination "The Scarecrows in the Garden," a month-long festival featuring 50 scarecrows posed throughout the garden.

Harry Norman, Realtors® realizes that the need to feed the hungry is always great, but the need was especially great in 2005 with the influx of families fleeing hurricanes in the gulf. The company hosted its annual Food Drive to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. In 2004, the drive was very successful with a total of 45,010 pounds of food being collected.

In December, Harry Norman, Realtors® served as the presenting sponsor of the Atlanta Magazine Dream Home located in Country Club of the South. Preeminent architects, builders and designers worked on this project and the resulting tour of the homes benefited the Atlanta Day Shelter, Homestretch, House of Hope, Lekotek and My House.

At the company's 75th anniversary gala, held December 1, 2005 at the Cobb Galleria, each guest was asked to bring an unwrapped toy or gift to donate to the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. For the last 13 years, Harry Norman, Realtors® has hosted a Toy Drive to help make the holidays a little easier for families in turmoil. According to Shelter Director Ruth Schnatmeier, "The shelter is very grateful for all Harry Norman, Realtors® does for us. Many of the children would miss out on Christmas if it weren't for the tremendous effort of those at Harry Norman, Realtors®."

Harry Norman, Realtors® is dedicated to giving back to the community. According to company President Lewis Glenn, "Being involved in the community that supports our families and businesses is not just an obligation. It's a privilege." The company intends to continue this commitment for generations to come.
