The 2006 Atlanta Heart Ball presented by Emory Healthcare will be held March 25, 2006, at the InterContinental Buckhead. The theme for the evening will be “A Sterling Affair,” with cocktails at 5:30 PM followed by dinner at 7:30 PM. The honoree for 2006 is Dr. Joseph M. Craver, a cardiothoracic surgeon and professor of medicine at Emory University. He has treated over 14,000 patients during his career as a surgeon.

To mark the milestone of the 25th year of the ball, the American Heart Association will be presenting the “Heart of Atlanta” award. The association is pleased to announce that the recipients are Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Correll Jr. The Corrells have been dedicated to the mission of the American Heart Association for many years.
