Zoo Atlanta’s 2006 Beastly Feast promises to be an elegant evening reminiscent of an exotic African safari. The black-tie bash, set for Saturday, May 20, will celebrate the zoo’s collection of African zebras, with the theme “Z-A Gala in the Grasslands.”

This year’s event features a showcase of cars from corporate sponsor Ford Motor Company, spectacular silent and live auctions, raffles, a seated dinner and dancing. Auction items range from jewelry and artwork to a spa and golf package at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Jamaica.

Event chairs are long-time Zoo Atlanta volunteers Mary Johnson and Danielle Rollins; honorary chairs are Stephanie and Arthur Blank. Tony Brewer and Company will design the décor for the zoo’s premier fundraiser. For tickets, call 404/624-5908.
