Plans are well underway for the 2006 Piedmont Ball to be held at the Piedmont Driving Club on January 27. The prestigious event, hosted by The Woman’s Auxiliary of Piedmont Hospital, will benefit Women’s Services at Piedmont Hospital. Piedmont Ball is currently celebrating its 100th anniversary and the 2006 ball promises to be a sensational beginning for the next 100 years.

Honorary Chair Mrs. Dameron Black III, a life member of The Woman’s Auxiliary, currently serves as vice president of the Piedmont Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. Her mother, Mrs. Emory Cocke, is a founding and life member of the Auxiliary.

Tony Brewer is the ball designer and promises a night to remember. Tony announced the theme is on “ice” for now, to add to the excitement and mystic of the evening. Guests will dance the night away to the music of The Bob Hardwick Sound.
