Who says business and pleasure don’t mix? Newlyweds Tara and Joel Green are partners at work and play. Their marriage sparked Gallery of Love, an Atlanta-based company that offers unique marriage certificates, created from a series of original oils. The collection includes art deco, art nouveau, Victorian and pop art designs. Each certificate is personalized with the couple’s wedding details. Deluxe frames complete the look. When the Greens tied the knot, Tara, a TV special projects coordinator, was so excited about the actual marriage license, she wanted to hang it on the wall. Husband Joel, a former creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi ad agency, was less than impressed with the black and white document. Together, the two conceived the Gallery of Love. “It is our hope that couples who have one of these certificates on their wall...will be as happy as we are and be renewed, rekindled and reminded of their wedding day each time they see their certificate,” Tara said.
